 AdmissionsChildren can enter Westrop Primary in the September before their fifth birthday according to the policy of the Local Education Authority. All children are able to start full time in the Autumn term after a short induction period. Parents are welcome to visit the school or attend an ’Open Morning’. Please telephone the Administration Officer to make an appointment with the Headteacher. Children transfer to Warneford Secondary School during the September after their eleventh birthday. Induction Procedures Prior to starting school we have a comprehensive and supportive system of induction for both parents and children! You and your child will be able to spend some time in school, meeting staff and other children and participating in the school day. We also hold parents meetings which give you further information about the school and an opportunity to ask questions. Reception Booklets for parents are available from the links below Children in Year 6 have an opportunity to visit and take part in Warneford Secondary School’s induction programmes prior to transfer.
